Who Are We?
We are a group of college undergrads, grads, and people who like to hang out with college students. We study the Bible, go skiing, have barbeques, bake brownies, and help our community. But most of all, we have become a great group of friends, who would love to have you join us.
Bible Study
During the school year, our group of college students gather weekly, to study either a book of the Bible or a contemporary Christian book. This year, we will start by looking at the book, UnChristian, written by David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons. The book examines the changing attitudes of Mosaic & Buster "outsiders". These are Americans between the ages of 16-29, who have a growing disenfranchisement with Christians and the Christian Church. For a sneak peak, go to http://www.unchristian.com/pdfs/Too_Political.pdf.
Opportunities to Serve at Trinity
-
Music - Are you a musician? Like to sing? Play the piano, flute, guitar or trumpet? Trinity would love to have you participate in weekly services. Contact Lisa Thompson to get involved.
- International Student Ministry - Trinity is looking to start up a ministry to the international students in the area. If you are international, or just feel that God has given you the gift of ministry, we'd love your help getting things going.
How do I get to Church?
Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 149 Honness Lane, about 2 miles South of Cornell and 2 miles NorthEast of Ithaca College. It is a 5-10 minute drive from most campus locations and even walking distance for those students that live near East Hill Plaza. You don't need your own car to join us, we'd love to give you a ride! For a map, directions, or a ride request go to our map page.
